Reviews of Caliber Collision
"Caliber Collision in lake Wylie was amazing. My car looks great. They keep me updated every step of the way with what was being done and when. I would get calls from Melanie ( who is super great ) letting me know what was going on with the car. The whole staff was always very friendly and smiling. Would definitely recommend them to anyone."
"One of the most professional businesses I've dealt with in a very long time. From the first phone call through completed work. Great job."
"A bit slow and had to take back but got it done in the end. Hit a deer, heavy damage to passenger front and side mirror. First time went to pick up, mirror not fixed and residual deer hair on side not washed off. Second try better, but then discovered malfunctioning light sensor they didn't notice. Had to take back for further work. All fixed now though, looks like new."
"Took my car here because my insurance company said they were an in-network repair facility. My car received heavy paint and window damage from a gas station car wash (scratches over the entire body and windows). Made an appointment and brought the car in for inspection. A technician came out to assess the damage and was told it could be fixed fairly easily with some buffing, etc and replacing the windows. I was assured it would be no problem and that they would work with the insurance company and get back to me once everything was approved so I could set up a time to bring the car in for repair. About a couple of weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called my insurance company and they said everything was approved on their end and I just needed to call Caliber to schedule the repairs. However, when I called Caliber I was shockingly informed that they had decided they would not do the work. According to them, they "only work on vehicles that have been in a collision." First of all, that is the most asinine thing I've ever heard. Who the heck cares how the damage was caused?? Damage is damage. Can you fix it or not? And most infuriatingly, you tell the customer that you can do the work with no problem, but then you change your mind and then don't even tell them?? What the actual heck way of doing business is that??!! So I can't speak to whether this company actually does a good job, but I can tell you don't bring your vehicle here unless it was basically totalled in a horrific disaster. In my experience, incompetence exudes from this facility from the management all the way down. It's probably a blessing in disguise that they decided not to do the work because I doubt a company that can communicate so poorly, especially within their own ranks, would be capable of doing a good job anyway. I would avoid them at all costs unless this is the only option provided by your insurance, in which case, good luck. Just make sure you stay on top of them and don't rely on them to get back to you."
"Luke was wonderful! He was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable! Overall it was a very smooth process and I got my car back quickly! The work on my car was well done and thorough. Probably my best experience with a body shop yet. Very satisfied!!"
