"I was unhappy with the hygienist, Karen. When she came to get me in the waiting room, she didn’t use my name. She just said “well you’re up next”. I thought that strange and unprofessional. But my main complaint was about the way she cleans my teeth. She cleaned my teeth two years ago and it was the most painful & the longest cleaning I had ever had in my life and I’ve had six-month cleanings since I was very young. I asked then, for my next appointment, not to have her again. I didn’t last March but I did last Wednesday. For the 1st time ever during a teeth cleaning she had to stop 3 times because I was coughing. (I didn’t/don’t have a cough or cold) I don’t know the process or protocol for teeth cleaning. All I know is that she doesn’t do it like the other hygienists. On a positive note, I appreciate Dr. Stuckey‘s advice on how to fix my bite plate to fit carefully over my bridge. It feels much better."
