I had my implant in January 2019, which was my k9 tooth. I know because of the tooth's position, it comes in contact with the most force due to my bite. The crown became loose, and Dr. Harrell fixed it and even put in a new crown at no charge. Theresa Spear is an outstanding dental hygienist and Karen and the crew at the front desk are always helpful and so easy to deal with. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Harrell and Theresa take care of my mouth for years when we lived in Charlotte 10+ years ago. When we moved back to Charlotte about 18 months ago, I decided to go to a new dentist closer to our new home. Boy was that a mistake! While I loved the vibe of the office and I think they did a good job cleaning my teeth, they said I needed all of my fillings replaced and wanted to start scheduling me to come in regularly to do this work. While I don't have a huge number of fillings - it was still a lot to take in and would have cost me quite a bit of time and money - not to mention discomfort. I decided to get a second opinion, so I called Adult Dentistry and made an appointment. Dr. Harrell first asked if I had any pain or any issues...then after reviewing my x-rays told me that I absolutely did NOT need every filling in my mouth replaced. He was genuinely disturbed by this recommendation. He said, "When they need to be replaced you'll know it and we'll do it." He could have said, "You sure do, and do it with us," - I probably would have - but he didn't. He did the right thing. I've been back twice since for cleanings and all is well. Theresa is such a delight and makes the whole process easy...and, don't I love the way my teeth feel after her cleanings! Thanks all! So glad I came "home" to Adult Dentistry of Ballantyne.
