"Update #2: Some facts: I picked up a bag of tee shirts from my car (gifts to bring in my house) and my nail snapped off. I did not fall as the person from the shop who responded suggested. I was not doing anything to brake my nails. I have been getting my nails done (acrylic) since I was 13. (Over 20 years and in different states.) This was a bad refill. Clearly there was a pocket of air left in between my natural nail and acrylic for it to snap off so easily. (My natural nail did not brake.) Yes I called while I was heading to the shop because it was a busy time for me and I was not expecting to need my nail fixed after 4 days. I was told I could not be seen because I didn’t have an appointment! OF COURSE I DIDN’T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT: I had an appointment to get a refill and I showed up for it and paid $90 for these nails. I was told that I would have to wait at least two hours because I did not have an appointment and other people did. (I purposely made an appointment the weekend before because I was having a full house as we were hosting during Christmas.) it was embarrassing for my nail to break like that after four days. When you offered for me to come the next day, I did consider it. However, you told me you would not be able to see me until after 12 PM because I didn’t have an appointment. That is bad service. Horrible. If you would’ve allowed me to come in at 9:30 when you open, to fix my one nail, I would have agreed. I made an appointment the weekend before for a refill because I knew I would not have time to get my nails done during the week. The fact that you’re not taking responsibility for not fixing the problem is bad service. To ask me to come in during the middle of the day during the middle of the week when I have my family from out of state in my house, during a major holiday week, is just unrealistic. Even if you didn’t have that information, the fact that you expected me to make an appointment for a mistake that your nail tech made is not good service. I had to go to another salon and pay to have my nail fixed because it was not done there. I will not go back there, knowing that if something happens, I will have to make another appointment for repair that was not my fault. And the fact that you tried to say I broke the nail when I already told you how it broke is crazy. I was waiting for my husband to leave the house so I could bring his Christmas shirts inside. Yea very rough smh Update!! My nail broke 4 days after my refill and now they’re saying they don’t have time to fix it because they have other customers. I know it’s busy season, that’s why I got my nails refilled early (with an appointment.) Of course I did not expect my nail to brake after only 4 days. Now I’m stuck with family in town and a broken nail."
