"I've been to this salon maybe three times before today, and I will NEVER go back! I requested white OPI polish and was told they were out. I explained I was fine with an off-white as long as it was OPI. The tech grabbed a color, opened the polish, and asked if the color was okay, which I agreed to. After she polished my nails, I asked if the polish was OPI because it looked very thin and transparent, and she said no. She got upset after I tried explaining I only wanted OPI and attempted to tell me it would still look the same. She finally brought over another tech, and after explaining myself again, he found the right polish and repolished my nails. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes, I tried to get the attention of the staff at the salon. Unfortunately, no one responded, not even the two technicians engrossed in their phones or the three at the front assisting other clients. It wasn't until a client being served had to inform her technician (the person who polished my nails) that I was seeking assistance. Despite my attempts to remind them that I was scheduled for a nail service, he nonchalantly mentioned that my nails weren't dry and continued with his work, leaving me annoyed. After an additional 5 minutes, he returned, cautioning me about the nails not being completely dry. I reminded him about my nails, and he responded by speaking loudly to his coworkers in their language. This led to a back-and-forth exchange, and eventually, he communicated something to a technician who had been sitting across from me the entire time I was waiting for my nails. She finished what she was doing on her phone, then slowly approached, checked herself in the mirror, and took her time before asking if I wanted my nails done. At this point, I decided not to proceed and politely declined. Throughout my time there, which extended beyond an hour and 30 minutes, I only had a pedicure. I observed staff walking past me several times without acknowledging my presence. Not once did anyone inquire if I needed anything, offer a drink, or check on me. It was disheartening to notice that other clients, who didn’t resemble me, received more attentive service. As a resident and business participant in this community, I find the lack of respect and customer service appalling!"
"I've been going here for a few years. And MOST of the time they do a good job depending on which technician you have. Some do a GREAT job, are friendly, & can have a conversation with you while doing your nails but unfortunately there are more of them that don't do as good of a job, don't talk to you, except just to ask color & shape. I understand that there's a language barrier & not everyone can speak English well but I think it is completely unprofessional to be in a position where customer service is extremely important because they're spending one on one time with clients but can only say a few words to them. I also think it's rude for the technicians to have conversations with each other the whole time I'm having my nails done, especially when they won't even engage with their clients! As far as the prices go, it's about average but again there's a negative aspect there too because I've been told the price before having certain services done but they're not the same when I'm paying. They do offer 7% off if you pay cash instead of card but I know for a fact there's been times I wasn't given that discount because it was a different price even though I got the exact same kind of service."
"Horrible experience. Will not return again ever. My fingers stung for several hours afterward. I specifically said do not make my nails short. Some were filed down to the quick. The tips were especially unnecessarily filed down. Polish was not applied evenly on nail beds. The technician was cross and hateful in her demeanor. I should have walked out before any damage was done."
"Filthy, lazy, damaged nails. Just needed a dip removal....she literally ripped off the acrylic on the first 2 nails with nippers & huffed when I requested she file off the rest. She insisted that *ripping* them off wasn't going to damage the natural nail... My nails are now paper thin and very tender. Also asked for a manicure & she didn't do it at all. Didn't clean up the cuticles, nothing. Left scrapes in my nail bed, left stuff literally falling off my nails. Also used disgusting, used tools. Dirty/old files, nippers, clippers, e-file heads & buffer blocks. Just grabbed them from the basket of dirty tools and then tossed them back after using them. So they don't follow the LAW on sanitation, or follow basic rules of nail care, muchless customer service"
