"FALSE ADVERTISING! I called about getting 6 yards of topsoil delivered and they were booked more than a week out. I asked if I could come there with a small trailer and get a yard at a time and was told that was fine. I get there to pay for the yard of topsoil and she says $27.50. I thought it was $10 per yard? Then I'm told there is a 2 yard minimum. Which $20 plus tax still is not $27.50. Ok, not the end of the world I can come back tomorrow and get the 2nd yard. No, you have to get it all at one time! So, they are going to charge me for 2 yards and not give me the second yard because my trailer couldn't hold that much weight. I was looking forward to having a new place to go for soil and mulch. What a shame."

"I called for a quote and when I asked about the single grind listed on their website the woman made me feel like I was inadequate and out of line for even asking. It's no problem that they no longer carry it however I don't love to feel like an inconvenience for trying to order mulch. I went with another company solely for that reason. It's unfortunate because I've used APE before and really liked them. Sorry to have interrupted your day."

"I have used american property specialists for many years, when I worked for the City of Wilmington all departments brought vegetative debri towards Jason Thompson's business american property specialists. Mr. Thompson also held a C.O.W. position as commissioner at the same time made profit on his personal business for C.O.W.. I belive this was a conflict of interest. I still did business with his company...until today. I was sold this product..after questioning the fine (sand) content at 80% they told me I could offload and get a refund. Ha. Look at the pics and you be the judge."
