"I live in dillon County and have for over 12 years. I have used salons in the Dillon area, but because most of my doctors appointments have been in Florence, I switched to their salons. I am back to seeing doctors in the Dillon area, so I needed to find a local salon again. Unfortunately most have closed that I used in the past, so I needed to seek out a new one. I called this one and asked if there was someone who could do a razor cut, the owner stated that she was the only one there, she only works part time. I tried to schedule an appointment, where I was met with a repeated response, no less than 3 times while attempting to schedule, said appointment, that response being, she is the only one there and she only works part time, yatta, yatta yatta. I am not stupid, by any stretch of the imagination and I heard her the first time and the following reiterations were completely unnecessary and rude!!! She continued to tell me that she has been doing hair for 38 years and has built up a wonderful clientele. This made me feel as if she didn't need MY money!! Oh...and I tip extremely well!!! I nevertheless, scheduled an appointment with her because I felt as if I were out of options and had no choice. Today,, I again began my search for a local salon, as I was unwilling to deal with a rude shop owner, I was to a point, where I was willing to drive to Florence, in any attempt to avoid this rude person whondidnt want or apparently NEED my money, or my high gratuity, as someone who has worked in the service industry would. I Googled local hair salons again...and guess what?!?!? I met the sweetest woman who owns her salon, she is extremely busy, but took the time to speak with me in a kind manner, I immediately scheduled an appointment with her!! I called Louise Barns back, yes I know you name, Google is an amazing tool!!! When I called to cancel, she never asked if I wanted to reschedule, she continued with her obnoxious behavior that is atypical of us southern folks. Maybe she is a yankee, that would explain her rudeness to a potential new client.."

"This is a wonderful place to go to. My mom is elderly and Tammy always takes care of her and goes the extra mile for her and I really appreciate her. My mom has to take her portable oxygen and wheelchair when she gets her perms and Tammys shop is easily accessible for it all . Anyone looking for a new place to go I strongly recommend her establishment. :)"
