"This place likes to call itself a "RYOBI Service Center." Well folks, I can attest to the fact that this place may be anything BUT a RYOBI Service Center. As instructed by RYOBI, I called to see if East Lawnmower Service would be able to assist me in getting my table fixed or replaced; Joe said certainly. So I packed up my router table and drove 45 minutes out from where I live in Fort Mill to drop it off. After arriving to their shop I attempted to briefly show them the issue in order to assist them in understanding the issue... They didn't care to look at or understand and simply quoted me 4-6 weeks to hear back. Six weeks go by and didn't hear a single word. So, I called them for an update... after the phone conversation it was very apparent that there had not been a single attempt to work with RYOBI to get parts in order to fix it or file a claim to have it replaced. I called RYOBI and that rep called Joe to have him file a claim to have it replaced. Joe attempted to file a claim, which I found out later by RYOBI that it was done incorrectly/incomplete and therefore denied. Joe didn't care to figure out why it was being denied; he simply just took my router table and placed it somewhere in his shop to collect spider webs and dust. 91 total days from when I dropped it off I called Joe back and he told me to just come pick it up. I could tell he was just tired of dealing with it. DON'T go here for RYOBI service! Hell, I wouldn't go here for any other service either given the poor communication skills he showed me over the last 13 weeks. Hey Joe, stop masquerading as a RYOBI service center, because you're clearly not."
"One of the worst place I have ever visited I was told by Joe he wasn't 5 week's out on repairs July 6 dropped of my riding mower and generator on July 11th never got a phone call our update about either of my items so on the July 22nd I decided 2 call only 2 find out nothing had been done 2 either one of them so still without any update I decided 2 call on August the 8th only for Joe 2 tell me he couldn't find any parts for my Mower not a problem which I have already ordered but still no information about my generator after being placed on hold for a few minutes he returned only to tell me I didn't leave a deposit to do all the test may if they had told he need a deposit I would have gladly paid it I have never in my 58 years dealt with such awful services never again would I step foot in this place our recomend East Lawmower Sevice"
"I never would have imaged this happening to me. "stay away." They don't care about your situation they just charge you. I paid them$53.00 to diagnosis first and to get back to me before. They make excuses and then push the bill down your throat afterwards. The only thing I'm glad about is that the mower was running when I got it. I would not have spent $500.00 to fix it at this time the repair cost more than the mower purchase price. This put a major strain on my budget. I have the right to know the cost of the repair before hand not after the fact. They really took advantage of me and I'm not happy about that. This is unethical and unacceptable. I will never go back there ever again in my life. The way the took advantage of me and took $500.00 out my hands. I hope they lose money in large numbers for taking advantage of me."
"They do not communicate with you before doing the work, NO communication, they charged me for a diagnosis but never called me to tell me the findings of the diagnosis. They did what they felt like without giving me the right to choose whether I would like to continue or come pick up my machine. They expect you to pay whatever price they come up with after the fact. The My lawn mower was at their shop for about four weeks, during that time they stated that it was impossible for them to have called me to tell me what was wrong with the machine. They did not know until they took it down. Isn't that what the diagnosis fee for???"
"Do NOT do business with this company. Randy… This sorry excuse for a “veteran” had the nerve to treat my family members with the utmost disrespect after RUNNING OVER HIS DOG. He gave absolutely zero care to the fact he injured his dog. Did not offer to help get him to a clinic, offer to pay the hospital fees. Nothing. All he could do was state that he was being threatened. Name calling isn’t a threat & he deserved to be called much worse."
