Sundown Customs Window Tinting

"Let me tell you about the DIRTY DOZEN excuses that were provided about why my son's window tint on his NEW Kia Rio could not be completed without defects after 4 visits. Sure, a Kia Rio is not a $100K car but I still expect window tint to be installed without defects on every window. This nightmare lasted from July 27, 2023 until Sept 28, 2023. That's when Jake (the owner) told my husband to leave the property or he would be removed and that they were done with this car. Excuses provided include: (1) We didn't get all of the old glue off. (2) That's not a bug inside the tint. (3) That is a piece of our sponge inside the tint. (4) There's defects in the glass. (5) No tint job will be air bubble free. (6) Our plotter cut the tint to the wrong size. (7) The window seals are hand installed and too tight to slide the tint under - the 2nd shop had no issue (8) You have never had a Kia tinted and they have soft glass (9) All tint jobs can have light gaps if they are hand cutting film - which also cut our windshield (10) The LIFETIME WARRANTY is from the tint company for delamination, we only install it to try and help the customer (11) You might have been here 4 times but we've had the windows done 12 times to try and make you happy (12) Do you have OCD?"

"My husband located this company online and set up an appointment for them to come out to our home and tint my windows in our driveway. They came out the Monday of Christmas week, which was super fast turn around from when my husband called to set up an appointment. I had recently purchased a 2020 Ford Expedition. I wish I could remember the guy's name who came out, but he was very professional and worked efficiently. That day was extremely windy, but he was a great sport and got the job done. We were very pleased. He was sure to educate us on how long to wait to roll down the windows and to wash the windshield. I complied with these instructions. After a couple weeks, I noticed a small scratch right in my line of vision while driving was still there (I had thought it was just part of the haziness and bubbles that would settle with time). My husband reached out to the company and they set up an appointment by the end of that week to come redo or correct the tint. The following Saturday morning, the same guy came to our house to make it right. After getting started, he found that my windshield evidently had a security film on it that was rare according to him. I had no clue what he was even talking about, but he assured me he would make it right even though they normally charge for this situation. He explained that they are not as commonly manufactured on newer vehicles so he didn't notice it before. He had another appointment that day, which I totally understood, so he came back out Monday morning to remove the security film and replace the tint on my windshield. With no more charges. I am very grateful that he was so willing to help me and make my tint right, despite the bump in the road. We all know that you don't run into this kind of business these days because most people do not care and would have 100% charged me to fix it. Thank you so much for making my tint right!! I LOVE it and love that it was as simple as y'all coming to my car. 10/10 highly recommend this company. We plan to use them when my husband gets a new vehicle and for any other tint needs we have! Can't beat amazing customer service!"
