"This used to be a good nail salon, but it now is terrible. I scheduled an appointment for my 3 year old daughter, her dear friend and for us moms. We came in at our scheduled time and sat for 15 min, which then became 30, 45 and an hour. My friend and daughter had to leave for other commitments due to the salon's inability to keep or honor a schedule. Furthermore, they are incredibly rude! They do not care if you are waiting or how long you are waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service and professionalism all the way around. Many people walked in and left while we were there, as well. It took them a quarter of a second to paint my 3 year old's nails and then they would like me to pay 10 dollars???? No thank you! They didn't do anything as far as a manicure was concerned! Never ever going back, and I suggest you follow suit. Edited to add after "owners" response: You are lying. My review is in good company with many other people that said the same thing. You do not respect other people's time. Furthermore, you told me 2x I was "good to go.""

"This nail salon use to be amazing now they barely care bout their customer an making an appointment is pointless. They are always behind have you waiting 30-hour to be seen even with an appointment. An the customer service has went down: I’ve addressed a few problems I’ve had even one with not being seen till 30 min after my appointment & they don’t care: they just said talk to the manager you talk to her she as dumb as box of rocks."

"Helen and Mimi are very unprofessional, rude and completely disrespected me by calling me CHEAP. They absolutely don't care about people unless its their favorite customers. I have brought so many clients and I WAS a very loyal customer. I had came into to get my nails done for a wedding for them to start chipping a few hours later. It was a chrome polish and gel with French tip and I asked for a different color since the gel looked butchered, for the lady to just tell me she hated the pink color I had chosen out and didn't ask if I wanted a different chrome/ French tip since I had originally paid 65$ for French and chrome. I ended up tipping two different people and spent $90 dollar total for baby pink short nails. I felt so uncomfortable and had settled because of how in a hurry I was to leave town. I came back a week later to ask them about it and if I could get a price adjustment ( something there old manager Andy has offered me before) for Mimi and Helen to completely lie to me and tell me they offered me chrome, proceeded to ask each other what happened when they didn't know what happened in the first place and Helen stood up just to say "Andy doesn't like cheap people" and went back to her seat. Didn't try to resolve anything whatsoever. Then told her associate to give me back the money I tipped her. I can't believe that's how they run a business. I have told every person I have ever recommended this place to never come back. I tip over 20% each time for them to be completely disrespectful. I will never be coming here again."

"I have been going to Mimi and her family’s salon for 5+ years and I have NEVER had a bad or negative experience. They are always accommodating to the best of their abilities and are always happy to do so. Mimi is insanely talented, keeping up with current trends, always updating her skill set and it shows in the results. Her prices are reasonable and you absolutely get what you pay for. In fact all of the artists at Poppy Nails are incredibly talented and can do just about any style or design you ask for. If you’re looking for a great salon where you get exceptional service & friendly staff, look no further than Poppy Nails."
