"I was there today and in 48 years of a great dental health history and never having had a cavity - Dr Patel REFUSED to allow me a BASIC cleaning by a hygienist unless I "upgraded" to a $275 deep clean" - I literally felt like I was negotiating a used car deal. I clearly have NO CAVITIES and a few spots of tartar were on my x-rays, but certainly nothing major and i am having no problems at all. I was offered a $275 cleaning and a $355 cleaning but she REFUSED to simply perform the standard cleaning that my very good insurance pays for! I have never had such an experience at a dentist, or any other medical professional. I desired a simple cleaning and instead I got the verbal "pitch" by the hygienist and the Dr herself came in to close the deal - ridiculous - steer clear!"

"I had a wonderful experience during my recent visit to Ballantine Family Dentist. The place was cozy and had a great vibe, and the staff was very welcoming. Additionally, there is a play area for kids so they don't get bored. My 5-year-old had his teeth cleaned here, and surprisingly, he didn't cry at all. He usually gets scared during dental visits, but not this time. The prices are reasonable and transparent, and overall, it's a great place to get your dental needs taken care of. I highly recommend it."

"You know, finding a good dentist is tough, and it’s not like you can just try one out, it’s an investment! I guess that’s why I like Ballantyne Family Dental. As a customer, I feel like they are just as invested in me than I am in them. My first experience was great with Sonam, my dental hygienist, and to be remembered every time I go in raises my comfort level immensely. And let me tell you, my daughter has never had a successful visit to the dentist. She 8 now, but growing up she was terrified, just to have anyone near her face… but they kept her calm, got her through it, and she was all smiles after. She’s no longer afraid, and I attribute that to their patience and professionalism. The entire environment feels family friendly and the staff are always very kind. Can’t say enough nice things about them."
