"Every experience I've had at Macon Barber shop has been outstanding. The barbers are personable and do an excellent job. I knew this place was a gem, but I didn't realize how far other barber shops in the area fell short until today. It's the weekend and Macon Barber was closed, I really needed my beard trimmed and was hesitant to go to another shop because last time I chose a different barber the cut was ok and the customer service was poor. Today I chose to go to Great Cuts next to Ingles... I could have done a better job blindfolded. My beard was completely butchered and the personality of the lady who did the trim was as flat as a 2x4. I've learned my lesson, Macon Barber is the only spot in the area that will do more than just cut your hair. They actually care, and despite the excellence of their work, they won't ask for an arm, a leg, or your first born child. I would choose this shop just for the personality, but the quality of their work is way better than the commercial shops in the area. Don't make the same mistake I have. Do it yourself or go to this shop, or just don't cut your hair at all. Going anywhere else is a mistake"

"My son's father brought him in for a haircut and the older man (we didn't get his name) cutting his hair has a hissy fit and threw his scissors into the sink twice. This is what I was told. My son has sensory issues with getting his hair cut and sometimes he will shrug his shoulders when they start trimming his neck. I guess ol'boy didn't like that and he got a little upset. Thank God My son didn't notice because he would have been upset. Either way I'm not happy about this and that man shouldn't cut kids hair if he's going to get upset when the move a little. My son's haircut did turn out good despite all of that."

My wife and I are visiting from Union City, TN, and we had made plans for a dinner date tonight and needed some last minute to-dos to be done! She sure helped me out when no one else was willing!
