"Can't ask for better assistance! I went in with a friend's chainsaw to buy a new blade. Brought in the chainsaw, and not only was I helped to find the right new blade, but he also thoroughly cleaned the machine and put the new blade on for me. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of, and I am beyond grateful."
"Nice small town hardware store. Are they the cheapest? Absolutely not, but that's not why you go to a place like this. If I want a box of nails or need to hang a picture, this is easier than fighting traffic, finding parking and fighting through a crowd."
"They get four stars because they sell high quality stuff, and they have some of the best employees. But I am tempted to give them three stars, because their prices are always going to be higher than all of the bigger stores. I know I should support local businesses and local jobs, but it is difficult to pay pretty much a 20 or 30% markup on many items that I can get at Lowe's or home depot. I will pretty much shop at Ace hardware if I need to get something quickly and need to drive a short drive from my house. That's about it."
"One button on the old fon decided it wanted to work when it wanted to work. So on November 20th we stopped into Tony Ace's in Youngsville to see if they had one and they did however they couldn't program it Saturday and said come back on Monday. I ventured out in the rain on Monday and the manager was there and recognized me immediately and got to work. Went out into the rain programmed the new fob showed me that it worked and that the old fob was still working and I was on my way to celebrate my Thanksgiving holiday."
"They always try to please even if they can't. Either way their customer service is 1000 times better than the McDonald's across from them as the owner understands what those words truly mean. Customer service is a thing of the past back when "the customer was always right" and I believe ACE is trying hard to hold onto those old school values. If you disagree with the slightly higher prices then go to the big boy's up the street and see how much help you get for a dollar less. And think back on this post after you've parked a 1/4 mile away, walked 2 miles hunting, waited 30 minutes for help only to stand in line another 20 minutes as only 2 registers of the 10 are open. But hey! Look at the bright side, you saved a buck not dealing with Ace, those greedy B's. Hey ACE, you've always had every bolt, spring and screwdriver I've ever needed and I thank you guys for being there for us all."
