"Very disappointed in what has become of this salon. It used to be the best in town. My haircut appointment, made 6 weeks in advance, was cut short, to accommodate a color. Even though I stated at the time of my appointment that it needed a bit more layering, I was rushed through and my concern was ignored. Called back 2 days later to get it fixed/completed, and was offered an appointment for 3 weeks later, after the holidays. It would have only taken another 10 minutes to complete it. When I expressed that, I was told that it was their busiest time of the year and that they were already squeezing people in. What was the point of making the appointment in advance if people can get squeezed in, shortening others time. Note, the price was not shortened or squeezed. Paid regular price for an irregular appointment. Sorry to see this happen here, but I guess it's all about the money. There are other Aveda salons that are still about the clients. Won't be going back here!!!"

"Bliss is the place to go for quality salon services with a personal touch! When I started going to Hailey at Bliss Salon for my hair (color and cut) over a year ago, my hair was in not in great shape. I had moved twice in a year, and as a result had moved salons several times. Between that and Covid, my hair was damaged and breaking. What a difference a year with Bliss makes!! At my first appointment, Hailey fixed my cut and color, but more importantly set me on a plan to get my hair healthy again. She advised me on which styling tools to use (and NOT), which products would help, and reassured me when I felt discouraged. Now my hair looks great and I get compliments on my color all the time... Hailey is super talented and knowledgeable! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Each visit to Bliss is a treat. I can't recommend them enough!"

"Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience at Aveda Bliss. I was unaware until the morning of my wedding that my original makeup artist had left the salon and my makeup was going to be done by a different artist that I had never spoken to or had a trial with. Unfortunately, had this been a trial, I would not have scheduled with this artist. To the new MUA's credit, she did very nice eye shadow, clean matte skin, and added really natural-looking false lashes to the outer corners. However, the negatives outweigh these three positive notes. There were messy brows, brown contouring in the wrong part of my cheek and orange blush that was not a good match for my skin, and I had to point out multiple times that the eyeliner was still watery and translucent instead of opaque black before requesting I finish the look myself. It was after this point that the artist said, “we can be a little obsessive compulsive, can’t we,” suggesting I was too demanding. We were running out of time, and I knew I would have to redo my brows, blush, and eyeliner myself (as well as fix my hair that she had flattened in the process) when we returned to the venue. This was when the salon informed me that the price nearly doubled between the time I booked my original appointment and the day of, which was caused by the change in makeup artist, of which I was never informed. They did accept the original price as payment, which I was grateful for. I will not go back to Aveda Bliss. I previously had a poor hair trial there that was rushed through and fell out within an hour. My mom and I had also scheduled makeup appointments to occur at the same time, but the salon changed the timing of her appointment by an hour without informing us, which created scheduling issues with the rest of our day. Luckily, we caught this two weeks beforehand and were able to get her another appointment at a different salon."

"I’ve had perfect experiences at Bliss Salon. The service is wonderful and the people are very kind and friendly. My stylist Gabby does really great work. The downtown area is always interesting, but give yourself enough time to get a parking spot. That being said, it’s worth the effort to go to Bliss Salon. Top notch!"

"I used Bliss Salon for my bridal hair and makeup and hair for my bridesmaids and mom. The experience was phenomenal and the results were truly stunning! Lindsay did my makeup (i've never felt more snatched in my life) and Emily did the best slicked back bun and attached my veil. The salon was a vibe and allowed me to be calm the morning of my wedding. They also let us take a bunch of film photography during the process since our photography package didn't start until later in the day. I loved being able to go into the salon and would highly recommend their services!"
