"I really don't care for leaving negative reviews. But I have never been so unhappy with the result just after a couple of weeks. My hair was really long and thick. It was a blank canvas for the right stylist. I had a photo of what I wanted and was told "No problem! It will be beautiful." I didn't get that. After 2 shampoos, the color I paid for in the back was gone. I now have the worst haircut I have ever gotten. My hair grows fast, fortunately. But I hate to say I will never return to this salon after trying 2 different stylists. Not to mention what I PAID for this nightmare... I still have nowhere to go after losing my former stylist of many years to health issues. Oh- how I miss you Kelly! More explanation with photos- The first photo(on the left) was a photo I showed the stylist (I am bad at remembering names, I apologize) that is the cut and style I wanted. Feathered lightly all the way down but cut at shoulder length. It was below my bra strap when I came in.. I didn't want the color in the first photo at all. My hair is growing out grey and I wanted NO blonde, but something to blend in the grey as it grew out. The second photo is one she took of the color. Of course she cut off the length (which everyone does as not to waste the product, not a problem) it had not been trimmed, shaped, nothing in the second pic. That color was very pretty but I had not wanted it all over, she had used foil. But it was a pretty color so I certainly could have lived with that. She didn't take a photo of the finished style in the back or the front. When I got home and a few days after- I was happy "enough" with what I had color-wise. I knew the style wasn't what I wanted. I had not washed and styled it myself yet. I thought I would go back and have her trim it up and down which is how you feather the back, but then unexpectedly... I had 2 deaths in my family and it wasn't something I could deal with or even thought of until I wrote the review. The third pic is what my hair has looked like since November, no color and the worst cut ever. The green line was to show where she started shaping it some from the line down. I suppose she meant for it to be straight across there with no feathered layers but even the line across isn't straight. ALL of the color was gone, which was a toner, I understand, but it only lasted 2 washings. I am sure she has and will deny all this as she was very full of her own expertise and how good and how fast she is. She was neither- I wasn't looking for "fast" but for the money I paid, I did expect it to look CLOSE to the photo I showed her. Which she said would be "easy" I did get your message but I simply couldn't call at that point and talk about hair- and really, how can it be fixed? Let someone else there cut it? NOOO thanks! After 2 stylists and almost $450.00 spent there THIS (in the last photo) is what I have. If you want to return some of my money that would be nice- you should have my address. I really didn't mind spending more money than the norm thinking I was getting what the style was in the photo. As you can see... they are nothing alike. I can just now put it up in a ponytail because there is no way to style it the way it is cut. As I said, I despise leaving bad reviews. But I'm afraid in this case it was warranted. My hair looks like crap after spending hundreds of dollars. You wouldn't be happy either. NO ONE has touched it since it was butchered in 5th Ave Salon- Oh- I do remember she said she only worked part- time and she is married to a policeman? I believe that is what she said... She had dark hair. I'm sorry. I can remember faces forever! But names- it's embarrassing, just don't stay with me and never have. I didn't want this to happen and I prayed hard before leaving a bad review. But, it is deserved. I am more than disappointed. I can't afford to spend that kind of money and now I STILL have to try and find someone to do my hair..."

"Disappointed with my experience. I asked for some subtle , low maintenance blonde highlights to brighten up my face and got the opposite. The “melt” that was suggested just looks like I’m way overdue for a highlight with severe and abrupt roots. I know my stylist Mattie did her best But I’m going to be going to a different salon and stylist to have it fixed . I asked for Kathryn when I made the point but Caleb promised me Mattie was great at long blonde highlights. Not happy with the outcome."
