"Had a great experience here. Went in for a diagnostics of check engine light. They promptly took care of it right away, helped claim warranty and stayed beyond their working hours to complete the repair. Thanks. Was also able to get an early appointment, compared to other Kia dealerships in my area."
"Professionalism at its best!!! My car is in excellent hands with University Kia"
"University KIA of Durham's service department will make you promises they cannot keep. I took my Kia here to have its ignition and one of its rear windows repaired. Customer Service Representative Ariel Watkins told me the repair would take one week, two weeks at the most. That was four and a half weeks ago and it still has not been repaired. To make matters worse, the department now appears too busy to answer my calls or respond to my voicemails. If you value timeliness and honesty, I suggest you go elsewhere."
"I have always had a good experience here at University Kia. Made appointment, promised me a time or cost and I left as scheduled and promised."
"Probably the worst KIA service department I've been to. Every time I've been, I left with a negative interaction. It starts with the service department not picking up calls half the time. Once I went for an X mile service. When I made the reservation over the phone, I confirmed it was the X mile service. When I got there, they asked if I came in for an oil change. I corrected them saying that I came for the X mile service. They understood. When I returned, all they did was an oil change and the "inspection" that they do to every car. I'm not sure if they're busy or lazy and don't want to do the work, or if they're trying to void my warranty by not doing the required service. Another time, I came in because I had a light on on the dashboard due to an issue that had been "fixed" by a service campaign by added vaseline to an electronic part to keep the moisture out. Obviously, that didn't work and the part failed. The service department couldn't tell which of the two rear wheel rotor assemblies was bad and wanted me to pay over $2k to replace both. All it took was an error code reader to tell you which was getting the error. I researched online, spent $80 for the part, and replaced it myself saving thousands of dollars. Who else are they trying to take advantage of by saying that they, out of all people, can't tell which part is faulty and unnecessarily replacing double when one is working fine? After I stopped going here, they have the audacity to send emails saying how skipping service puts my warranty at risk when their lack of service on things I requested puts my warranty more at risk. My advice? Stay far away."
