"Good place for picking up basic grocery and household items and the odd home decoration. Well maintained aisles. Paper products are very reasonably priced and the DG brand of paper towels is even cheaper than Walmart. Has an optional self checkout that is very easy to use. Only complaint was the music in the store, it was playing some very explicit music in the early afternoon that should not be played publicly where children may be present. ------------ Update, one year later. Place is very messy, badly maintained for such a small store. Store smelled of cigar smoke. Went downhill quickly. Prices so extravagant that it is better to go without and go to Walmart down the street. Yes, prices have increased everywhere, but some of their items went up 40-70 percent! Went down at least two stars from the five I initially gave. --------------- Update yet another year later. Prices have gone through the roof. And, just like many other places the containers and bottles shrank. What was on sale did not ring up as sale price, so really watch the price stated vs. what it rings up as. Unless it is an emergency purchase, just avoid."
"Pulled up to this store around 6 PM on a Friday and they had their doors closed and locked with a sign on it that said that they are closed to load a truck. There were over 20 people waiting in the lot. I understand if they may be short staffed but this is ridiculous. It is poor management to close a store during peak business areas in food desert areas. One lady said, "They do this all the time." If this is true, Dollar General should step up their recruiting efforts to hire better management who, in turn, may help hire better staff."
"It was well organized and clean. Casher woman was sweet and didn't mind me asking a bunch of questions about the bluetooth headphones that were behind the counter. Kinda wish they were accessable for me to look at for myself. I like to study before purchasing and sometimes take some time to ponder."
"I've done nothing to be followed throughout the store except have brown skin. I've brought this up to manager and she said that i was seeing thing's & the workers just want to know when they can take their next (alcholic) drink. I shop here every week and experience this every week"
"I was surprised. I was surprised at how clean and pleasant the store was. I was surprised that I enjoyed looking around. I was surprised at the selection of food items and general merchandise. I was surprised by the number of items made in the USA. I was surprised by the reasonable prices. I was surprised by the friendliness, helpfulness and courteousness of the employee that assisted me. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised, and I will be going back."
