"Nice folks. Great app. Skilled at navigating heavy traffic among some fairly rude drivers from out-of-state.The trolley will run for about an hour after midnight on New Year's Eve."
"My wife and I used this when we came 12 years ago and it was fantastic and we even rode the trolley into the National park to multiple stops. It seems far fewer trolleys run now and there are limited stops in town. Then they stop at every hotel on the loop even when they're 50 feet away from each other. Seems inefficient. The interactive map seems to be very accurate which makes it even more frustrating when you see the dot sitting for 10-15 minutes at a single stop without moving. Then when it finally arrives it's half full making you wonder what the hold up was for. That said it's free so that's good but I don't think many people end up using it because of the long wait times and unreliability"
"We were looking into taking the transit from the hotel to downtown. We ultimately decided to drive due to time constraints for the last run to our hotel (10:00p). We weren't sure we would be done with the fun by that time. However, the routes, scheduling, and stops were plainly marked on the map, but the system seemed very efficient."
"Great free way to get around a fairly large area. Lost a star for both no AC on one of the trolley/busses and driver jumping a curb causing minor injury to a passenger. Definitely worth riding to see the sights but is a very slow service, be prepared to spend some time if you plan to use. TIP: Be sure to check website for live tracking, estimated times are somewhat accurate but will keep you from waiting around when no bus is close."
"We all loved riding the trolley during our stay! They are free, and once you get the hang of the app, it's easy to use! All the drivers were fun, but we had one in particular that we were partial to. She was from Ohio, and her husband works at the Pigeon Forge trolley. We absolutely LOVED her and she took such great care of our family! I think the trolley was a huge highlight of our trip and we rode it EVERY night. So much better than paying $20 for parking! We can't wait to come back and see her again, wish we would have fought her name!"
