"Parking may fill up during sold out days, plan on using Grandfather Mountain Hiking Trails lot if that happens. There is trail designated to hike between there and Mile High Bridge known as the Bridge Trail. It's 0.4 Miles (one-way) Plan for small hike to take 15 min up and 10 min down. Also, this section of the mountain can act as a wind tunnel. You may feel your car is about to blow off the side of the mountain if you are here on a windy day. (Gusts can reach 100 mph in extreme conditions). Weather is unpredictable on this mountain."
