"I've been going to the Middy for a while. Mary is the magician that works on my family. She is the only comostologist who has ever successfully worked on the hair of my entire family and gotten everyone correctly cut and styled. My kids move, my spouse has an uncommon head shape, and my hair and scalp have been difficult to manage since chemotherapy. For someone looking for that all in one every one in the family HAIR GODDESS, MARY is for you. The atmosphere is great, and the waiting area is calming and comfortable. Even the bathroom is large enough to handle people using wheelchairs, strollers, and many other mobility assistance devices. The problem is getting in and out of the main door. The building is older, so the stairs are high, narrow, and not mobility friendly at all. It does not matter if you can walk, the stairs will present a challenge to even those with slight challenges so make sure you leave yourself extra time to navigate that. Wheeled devices will have to be lifted/carried into and out of the building. Unfortunately, The Middy does not own the building, so until they can afford a more accessible location, there is nothing they can do to change this issue."

"Blown away does not even begin to describe the talent and overall amazing hair Mary did for my wedding! I was so lucky to find Mary. My mom has been a client of Jamie’s and The Middy for years. When it came time to plan my out of state wedding, there was no question I needed a stylist who I could trust and would be able to capture my look with very limited visits prior to the wedding. Mary nailed it on the first trial! She was able to take my vision and add her special touches and talent to make it more whimsical, beautiful, and all around stunning then I couldve imagined. The next time I saw Mary it was the big day! Somehow she managed to even top the first trial run! Talk about Big Day jitters, Mary’s awesome, fun, personality, kept myself and my bridal party laughing and calm! Then I saw my hair! It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Each of my bridal party’s hair was unique and stunning. Mary managed to capture the looks without even seeing the ideas prior to the day of. I can’t rave about her enough. I am so grateful for Mary, all of her hard work and for just being all around phenomenal. Thank you a thousand times over. I would recommend her to everyone for anything whether it’s just a cut to doing special occasions. I have heard hair can be one of the most stressful parts for a bride. The experience with Mary was fun, relaxing, and I have never felt more beautiful. Oh and one the best parts, extremely reasonably priced!!
