"I LOVE this shampoo n conditioner and I couldn't find it anywhere but I finally found it at family Dollar it's a little pricey but so is everything else nowadays LOL employees there are totally awesome I love every single one of them and hope they all stay there for a long time"

"My husband and I shop here as it's close to our home. Each time we arrive, the workers are huddled up outside smoking and chatting with people in their cars. The store looks horrible. As soon as it's time to check out, we are standing there for several minutes before we have to go outside to get the employees to tell them we are ready to check out. They are always on their phones when they do check us out. I'm only leaving a review because we experience this EVERY single time that we go there. There is no professionalism in the employees. The manager is one of the ones that's always outside hanging out with the other employees. Store 5108 on hwy 87, Fayetteville."

"The cashiers are nice and polite. It's the manager who is rude. He needs some serious retraining in customer service. He is a fat white guy, and he's the only one in the store who fits that description. Very rude. He gets a nasty attitude whenever you question their coupons and policies."

"Today is 12-5-18 and it is 10:25am. So if the manager reads these reviews, they will know what employee was working because I could not get a manager on the phone. I have been shopping at this family dollar since it opened and never had a problem. But I walked in today to get a coloring book for my niece and the lady behind the register asked me to leave my purse behind the counter. I dont feel comfortable leaving my personal belongings with anyone. Especially a complete stranger. I felt completely singled out because the other women in the store had their purses. I have shopped in this store with the same bag not even a week ago and no one asked me to put it behind the counter. To top off the completely embarrassing experience, I politely said that I'll just leave and she proceeded to bad mouth me to the customer that was making her purchases. I call the store and cant get anyone on the phone. Horrible customer service"

"Good prices but most of the cashiers are always very rude. It’s a hit and miss in this store. You might walk in and get a kind and welcoming cashier that is helpful, or you might get a bad attitude and no help at all. I was there once and the cashier was on her phone while I sat and waited to be checked out. I’d rather go next door to food lion and pay more than deal with some of the staff I’ve come across here."
