"Had a great time at Hofbrauhaus while visiting Helen, GA. All of the food was served hot and fresh, and everyone in our group left satisfied and with full stomachs. The waitress was very pleasant and made the overall experience even better. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for good quality German food and nice views by the river."

"We love Hofbrauhaus! We had such a great time here. They lean into the German heritage and theme very much with the decor, architecture, and menu selection. The service was good and fun, and recommended excellent seasonal beverages for us. The food was great! We definitely recommend the German foods more than the American options. The Wiener schnitzel was the best, along with the German meatloaf and potato salad. Some of the best sauerkraut ever. The burgers were good but not at the same level as the German foods."

"This is a really cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating located next to the river. I got the Reuben and the potato cake. Both were delicious. The clothing of the servers and the interior design were of Bavarian style which added to the enjoyment of the restaurant. Reasonably priced and a friendly staff. There was live music the day we were there."

"Best food in Helen! Great atmosphere, tasty food, lots of options, and kids friendly! If the weather is nice they have a nice outdoor seating area close to the river. The murals are a nice touch on the walls! I am not sure about how much parking they have since we ended up walking from another part of town."

"Burgers charbroiled juicy and delicious! The wiener schnitzel art was great with a German beer and potato cake. If I make it back I want to try the deep fried roasted pork. (Can't remember the name) several people had one and it looked awesome. The guy they had playing guitar did well and created a chill vibe by the river. We ate outside under the canopy and felt so relaxed. Nice chill place with authentic German food with the staff dressing to the part as well"
