"Bought 3 lb pack of ground beef with an expiry date 3 days out. Lowe’s Foods brand. Got it home in Bellville and immediately refrigerated. Next day opening the pack and it smelled off and putrid. The amount of grease that came out of it was immense. After cooking the taste was really off. 1) old meat and 2) it wasn’t 80/20, more like 70/30. I think they mixed some old beef with new. Too far to take it back to the store. Stop selling old rancid ground beef."

"Horrible experience and not the first time at this store. I went in tonight with my Autistic teenage son to teach him how to function and be self-sufficient. He was discriminated against by the supervisor/manager on duty. We were going to go through the checkout as my son does not interact with people/strangers. There were no other customers at the 4 opened self checkouts, and the store had very few people. She looked at me and said very rudely, "Mam, there is an opened checkout line to use." Instead of teaching my son bad manners, I said this is crazy there is no one here and went to the opened checkout line. I will not be going back and will be telling everyone I know. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to another store who will be understanding, accept, and not discriminate against people with disabilities because they look normal."

"Pro: Most groceries you need.. Bad: gotta use their app, watch deals, clip coupons and have a rewards card. Be better: set prices fair, get rid of the need for the app and coupons, rewards card ok with phone number set up, just too many hoops to jump through to get a fair deal.."

"Clean, well stocked store. We were shopping after 8 pm on Sunday night so we had the store to ourselves! Staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Had everything we needed, everything was well stocked. Good fresh fruit and vegetables selections. Things are a bit pricey here however so if you are on vacation bring your paper towels and things like that from home."
