"Wait times were extremely long. Waited an hour and 25 minutes before the waitress returned to refill our drinks we were told that our wait was going to be 20-30 more minutes before our food may be ready. Paid for the water and salad and left. 0/10 would not recommend"

"We had a party of three. We had grilled blackened salmon, salt and pepper catfish and a medium rare steak. Everything was perfect. Service was great. I could not think of anything to be improved upon."

"Ate there last night with friends and family for the 1st time. We had a variety of items from the menu. Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the menu. My only complaint was the portion of slaw was to small for how good it was. Will definitely be back. New visit. The service was great. Food was good. The corn nuggets were great. The fried oysters need improving. Not much actual oyster and they were over fried. Everything else was good. Did not leave hungry. Will return."

"Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Food is always on point and service is top notch. Great family friendly atmosphere and super clean. You may have a wait to dine in or in the drive through but I promise it's worth it. I grew up visiting the North Carolina coast often and have had my share of great seafood and this locally owned restaurant in the foothills is just as good as any of the seafood places at the beach. I'm always pleased with anything I get time after time. I highly recommend their smothered chicken for anyone not wanting seafood but my favorite dish is the blackened grilled scallops with their famous Captains taters as my side. Both have always been excellent dining in and take out on many occasions."

"My mom and I were passing through this area to drop something off and decided to stop and eat . The food was fresh, hot and really good . Our waitress was sweet and very welcoming . This is an hour from my home however we will return . The waitress advised this is family owned and the way it got its name and the family works here as well . Makes it even better and beats a chain restaurant any time"
