"The best new place in Fayetteville! They are open for lunch till late dinner. A bit pricey, but you'll have 2 meals out of it because of the portions. Win win. The jollof rice was perfect, stunningly perfect. The oxtail was the most flavorful thing I've had in a long time. Also,the chicken was moist and seasoned. We also ordered the skewers. Due to supply issues, the lamb was not yet available but the beef with the spicy seasoning was excellent; more of a dry heat than make your mouth burn. They opened less than 2 weeks ago so show some grace as they work out the kinks. There are gluten free options and vegan options. Even if you've never had African food this restaurant is a good place to start to try something new!"

"I must say… Taste of West Africa: Awo's Cuisine is on my list of favs in town! Their ox tail is 10/10- the chicken is also 10/10 and the beef….. you guessed it! 10/10 I never thought I’d love a veggie empanada but here I am writing this review. Though i will say the chickenken empanada was my favorite ❤️ I’m so glad this place opened!"
