"First time visiting this restaurant and had an excellent experience. First, our waiter (Cooper, I believe) was super friendly and helpful. He recommended some great dishes and we never felt rushed. All of the food we ordered (quite a bit - more than pictured) was delicious. Everything was served fresh and timed perfectly so we weren’t overwhelmed with all the food at once. We had to move tables to accommodate a larger party but it was not a problem and they treated us with yummy desserts. The restaurant itself was super cute with beautiful art. My only complaint is it was a little loud, and although I was still able to catch up with friends, I felt I had to talk pretty loud most of dinner. Not a deal breaker but just an FYI for those who are noise-sensitive. All said, I would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again!"
"We do a girls night every month and this was the place this month. Service and atmosphere were amazing, as was the food! 1: calamari - very well done with sauce, lime, and just the right amount of breading 2: beets - I didn’t personally have any, but the table was raving about them! 3: papas - VERY shareable and by far the group fave of the evening 4: octopus - quite tasty. Not gummy or chewy, chickpeas that came with were quite crunchy and provided a nice balance 5: monkfish - crispy, buttery, delicious! The outside does have a kick, so be careful if you are not a spice person. I am, so these were amazing, although another in our group wasn’t so keen due to the spice 6: scallops - special when we went. VERY good and buttery, the Brussels sprouts were an amazing touch. There was more food at our table, but this is what I got pics of. The churros are great (of course), as is the death by chocolate desert. Definite citrus taste to the chocolate to cut the richness. 100% will be back!"
"The whole experience is really wholesome and warming. Siendo Español realmente aprecio tapas, buena sangría y cerveza. So this spot hits the spot. James gives you a nice homie welcoming and is very kind. Josh at the bar is very attentive and knowledgeable, and Henry from the kitchen is definitely an asset, together they make a great team and I look forward to being a regular at this establishment because of them."
"The lady and I really wanted some variety - you know, small plates. After looking around, we found Las Ramblas and boy am I glad we did. North Hills has its own charm by itself. Already imbued with that, we walk in through the Arabesquely-tiled entry way and step through to see a scene that is both inviting and has an air of cool. The two young people at the front greet us and seat us. And then we meet our guide through this journey, Cooper. And let me tell you, Cooper is an excellent guide. Considering Barcelona herself, major metropolitan cities and Mario in Durham, these were some of the best tapas I’ve had. The flavors are dialed in and full. With Cooper’s help, we landed on these: Pan con Tomate, Ibérico Shaved Jamón, Ensalada Verde, Rainbow Carrots, Pork Belly, Albóndigas, Fried Monkfish, Octopus and Flan for dessert. Paired with More Amor, Alhambra, a glass of Rioja, and an espresso martini. A lot right? We were celebrating. We liked everything we had. Pan con Tomate surprised me with how good it was. Fried Monkish was my favorite followed by the Albóndigas (that lamb was divine). Overall, it was a spiritual experience, not a meal. Cooper, let me tell the people about you. You are kind and helpful, down to Earth and easy to talk to. You know the menu well and give good recommendations. And thank you so much for your gift of chocolate cake to us! You really made the experience that much more pleasant. Friends, let me suggest Las Ramblas to you. It is as lovely and lively as the street it’s named for."
"They gave some great options for food and drinks. We had the Tuna Tartare, Croquette, Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Pork cheeks and Gambas. We also had the Bubbles flight for drinks and Churos for dessert. I have to say the service was really good and fast. Our fav of the night was the Pork cheeks. It was so yum with the hash-browns. The mushrooms with the egg yolk was also delicious. The shrimp was a disappointment and tasted bland. The flight also wasn’t impressive. Will definitely go back though."
