Reviews
"My go to store, but since Pandemic, out of a lot of my normal shopping stuff, in medicine isle, need some mailing tape in their too. And by the way don't give too many 5 star ratings, as I was once told, there is always room for improvement."
"Often understaffed, (check-out can take a while if it's busy.) but most of the workers are friendly. It's a typical Dollar General, though a bit smaller than some- at least it feels like it. It is located in an area which makes it very convenient to those living nearby, and is accessible to pedestrians who would rather not cross a very busy highway/boulevard. It is handy to be able to stop in and grab essentials. There is lots of parking space, with handicap accessible parking and it is wheelchair accessible- though the doors are NOT automatic and are Hard to pull open. There are plenty of carts and baskets at the front of the store. There is no where to easily corral carts- they are pushed back into the store (after opening hard to open doors) or lined up outside after lifting the cart up over a curb or rolling it up the handicapped access, across the front of the store and maneuvering it awkwardly into the end of the line of carts stored there. There is a refrigerated and frozen section with a very limited offering of milk, cheese, margarine, lunch meat, cream cheese, orange juice, other juices, sour cream, a chip dip. There are several areas with drinks in coolers: soda pop, juices, iced tea, iced coffee, energy drinks, beer, etc. (There is a small wine section, not chilled.) The frozen cooler is small and has pizza, entrees, French fries etc. Very limited clothing section, which is never well-organized. Items in the clearance section are usually not marked with a clearance price or any price- it's hard to tell what belongs there and no way to tell the prices unless you take it to a register to be scanned. Other Dollar Generals in the area mark their clearance down by a much larger amount. Isles are narrow and quite often jammed with large rolling carts of items to be stocked, which often make rolling a shopping cart through the store, (or walkers/wheelchairs- I thing it would be nearly impossible to maneuver a wheelchair through the store.) a hassle. (They should leave those big stocking carts in the back unless they are actively unloading them.)"
"If I could give this store a negative 100 I would! My son, who has special needs, was treated horribly! The store and district managers were beyond incompetent. I called the regional manager twice, he never exhibited the common decency to return my call. I have not been in that store or any Dollar General since my son's incident last year. Several employees made derogatory comments to customers about my son, how slanderous! It is repulsive that this company, claiming to have a firm social conscience, is so biased!"
"This place has really gone downhill. The aisles are so narrow you can't pass another customer. There's always stuff sitting on carts blocking the aisles. It's always a mess! They seem like they can't keep employees. There is never the same people from week to week. They aren't friendly or helpful. I used to be able to find nice stuff but there never seems to be anything worth buying."
"There was a glimmer of hope for this store, but the sassy girl left just months after opening it's gone down hill. From a lack of staff, a lack of bags to put your purchases in. A lack of organization, training, consideration of the customer seems to be an afterthought my management and most of the staff. Even shift leads seemed to spiral down to a apologetic bench warmer. But hey They did have my Pop Tarts and cheese."
