"We were hungry and in a pinch to find a place open later in the evening and landed on this place. The arepas and filling options are made fresh and pretty tasty, although we found them a bit on the greasy side which didn’t sit well with our stomachs. The service was friendly but I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re in a rush. Fresh food isn’t fast so just set your expectations accordingly."
"Guasaca 10 out of 10. For quick lunch or filling dinner The chips and salas 10 out of 10. The salsa has a sweet after taste. The salmon arepa: sautéed salmon, baked sweet plantains, caramelized onions ( put on your big adult pants), white cheese, cilantro sauce.100 out of 10. TRY IT. I like it with sour cream sauce and salsa. The chicken areapa shredded chicken, black beans, pico de gallo, and white cheese. Basic but filling. The chicken is chucky shreds. I would like finer shredded portions. You can customize all of the bowls and arepas. All of the food is fresh, made to order, and delicious. 2 arepas are filling with the chips. My order was correct and ready when I arrived without calling or texting. Im going back."
"Great place for Arepas with different stuffings like Avacado, grilled chicken, salmon , beans etc. very affordable price to have a meal or even snack type of food in the late afternoon hours. Corn breads made fresh. Like the food and overall delicious"
"This place is really cool. It’s the same as “other” places, but not burritos. Arepas. Arepas are smaller and made of, like, cornbread. We tried nearly every arepas in our group. Everything was great. The chips are good also. The salsa they give you with the chips is sweet, instead of spicy. That was odd. I liked it, but it’ll take some getting used to. I really loved the arepas I had and would gladly go back. Plenty of indoor seating. They also have outdoor seating."
"Great food. Staff isn’t really friendly but they are efficient and polite. Love the seating options. Some with lots of sunlight. Some without. The corner booth has electrical outlets to plug into. High chairs are available for kids. The salmon arepa takes an extra 5 minutes to prepare, btw."
