"I have been eating at La Rancherita for many years and the food has always been great. The service is excellent and the food always comes out very fast. Would highly recommend if you are in downtown Apex."
"This place is pretty nice. The food was delicious, and the server was super friendly. They had it decorated really cute for Christmas. I do have two comments about service tho and they aren't really related to the table service, which was good. First, there is a screen wall at the station when you first walk in. It took a while for them to know we were there. I had to look around the wall and get their attention. Another group stood there for a while until I told our waiter they were there. The restaurant should do something about this. I'm sure people have left because no one came. Second, I guess the two servers on duty that afternoon were not big fans of housekeeping. There were two tables that we could see from the door that clearly had not been wiped from the previous patrons. From our table, I could see one bus cart attention back and one near the front that were full of dishes. I don't think they could hold any more. Not sure what that was about. Anyway, as I said, our food was really good. We will go back. Oh, yeah, the location is nice too. Right on the main Apex drag. It's nice to walk the street after a meal."
"I went here with a party of more than seven people to celebrate a friend's birthday, and while I've heard great things about the food, I don't think it compares well to other Mexican restaurants in the nearby. The taste of the range of dishes we ordered was passable. You won't be able to park your car on the street because it's in the heart of the city, but you may park ten blocks away in the designated parking lots. All in all, my recommendation is to visit this restaurant only if you want to take in the lovely scenery outdoors and super hungry!"
"Good place, especially for lunch! Fajitas and combo quesadillas were solid and well enough portioned for a lunch size. Pleasantly decorated inside. Salsa and refried beans were unique and delicious in particular."
"Visited for my birthday meal. The food was great. The server was polite but she didn't visit to give refills, we had to ask someone. Also, restaurants should not take your glasses to fill, this is very unsanitary. A pitcher should be brought to you and refilled at the table. That way the glasses are not mixed up as well."
