Steak 'n Shake 2291 Spider Drive Northeast, Kannapolis, NC 28083

"Ordered ahead on the app and food was estimated to be done @11:30PM, arrived 4 minutes early @11:26 and 2 cars were ahead of me. 1st car continued (so I thought) and the car ahead of me an Uber driver and I waited for someone to attend to us at the drive through speaker. There were no signs of early closure or someone on break and the app even had my order marked as completed. Waited for 20+ minutes and drove around but no employees. Lights on and all but no one to be seen on the premises. Got fed up bc I called MULTIPLE times and nothing, NOT EVEN A REFUND !! Again my order had been marked as complete so I left and went to McDonald’s across from steak and shake and outside I see the steak and shake employee smoking a cigarette in the McDonald’s PARKING LOT. I’m returning for my refund and hopefully getting some service. I hope corporate sees this as well as the other reviews because the restaurant needs to make changes. I feel disrespected because they marked my order as complete and yet there was no employee there to explain anything."

"Kiosk ordering makes for a real impersonal atmosphere. The soda machine was out of order, the single burger was thin and tasteless. The bun was garbage. No soap in the men's room. This franchise used to be fantastic but I'll avoid it in the future."

"Service is was good. Our server was very professional and nice. Her is Jessica, she was great! On the other hand, bathrooms smell really bad. The kitchen floor where they prepare the hamburgers is dirty with fries every where. Employees walk on top of it."
