"Their products were highly recommended by my local restaurant supply company. We purchased a double stack convection and a ten burner range. After 2 years of use the $8000 oven has miserably failed and we have spent over $2k trying to fix it. We tried to get them to step up the to the plate and make it right and they passed on the opportunity. Now our range oven is having issues baking consistently. There’s too many better suppliers out there such as Vulcan and Blodgett that are similar price points but much better quality IMO."

"Got a new oven. Its nice but grease trap leaks and the company its less than willing to replace the grease trap. Youd think that for 7k it shouldn't leak. . next time ill find another brand."

"We have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. We always purchased used equipment due to the pricing. Recently we started replacing our old equipment with brand new Southbend equipment.. All of which has met and exceeded our expectations as far as pricing quality and build time! We recently lost our broiler and come to find out that no one stocks broilers anymore. The broiler is the back bone to our operation. We decided to purchase the platinum series broiler. We are in desperate need of this peice of equipment and the average build time was 6-8 days. We reached out to the great people at Southbend and explained our situation. With in minutes we had a response from top level executives. I couldn’t believe my eyes. These folk were willing to bend over backwards and move somethings around to get us our Broiler ASAP. I was so shocked that a big company like this still cared about the small guys like myself and my mom! I must say that they now have a customer for life and I will recommend anyone and everyone to buy Southbend. The Customer service is 5 if not 6 stars totally top on customer service !quality! Most companies should take lessons"

"Purchased a new SX55 gas fired steamer about 2 years ago. I went with Southbend to save a few dollars...big mistake! I have had nothing but issues with this steamer since a few months into service. Service calls under warranty, then service calls out of warranty. It is currently out of service. I think I'm going to have to buy a new steamer after spending $13,000 just 2 years ago. I have contacted everyone at Southbend from the regional service tech to the Director of Tech, Rob Taylor, to the president of the company, John Perruccio. They are surprisingly unwilling to offer any support whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from Southbend cooking equipment. Spend a few more dollars and save yourself a lot of frustration!"

"Guests are treated nicely but may have to wait for appointments. Bad review is for my employment experience. Worked here for six months. HR needs to be drastically improved on. Favoritism and privacy is a huge issue here. Loved most of my coworkers. Unless you want to walk on eggshells, don't work here."
