"If you are looking for authentic Mexican this is not it. This is Tex-Mex at best but the food was just bad. Maybe it’s what we ordered but the rice was cold and the chicken on the sopes was bland and tasteless. Additionally, our order came wrong! Nice people, chill atmosphere but be warned if you like good food in general don’t go here."
"So happy we finally have a fantastic restaurant in our area that’s close by! The food is great and the service is as well! Very friendly and accommodating too! The restaurant itself is not very large so if your group is over 9 or more people it’s advised to call ahead and make sure they can accommodate or go early around dinner time. We love this place and the drinks are top notch!!!"
"I’m going to rate a solid 3.75. Prices are good. Service was polite and friendly. Food was okay. The chips were warm and the ‘hot’ salsa was very good. Tried the Queso and it was okay. Sopes were on the small side and they didn’t seem to be made in house. Maybe there were, just not freshly made. I’ll try ElRey again."
"Portions are quite ample. I had the choose two combo, and there was a LOT of food. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Food was flavorful, but a bit underseasoned for my taste. No salt and pepper on the tables. Facility was smallish and crowded. Music was loud, as was the conversation level. Would visit again if in the area."
"We love this new Mexican restaurant! The decor is refreshing, the food is great, and the service was quick and friendly. If you get cold easily like I do, just bring a sweater! (Not a complaint, just an FYI.) My 6-year-old proclaimed it her new favorite restaurant too! Recently returned and tried the Sangria. It's homemade in house and FABULOUS! It's now my favorite Sangria in town."
