"Owner is very friendly and personable! Has great shea butter, oils, and art!"
"i brought waist beads and they broke within a week they would not refund my money ! or give me half off on another. the man was really nasty about it after i had just spent 85$ in his store . he doesn’t appreciate your business or hard earned monies . do not shop here! not to mention i had the receipt as well!"
"I have purchased several outfits from African Land over the past five years. The prices are reasonable and customer service is superb. I feel like I am in a museum when I shop there. As a matter of fact, I plan to shop there tomorrow."
"This store is amazing. From the time you walk in the store, you feel like you are in African Land! From the art , to the fabric, to the jewelry, to the books- you can literally feel the love resonated within the store. It is truly a pleasure to see all that the store has to offer. Each time I come here, it is a wonderful experience. In December, I purchased my first Kinara, as well as other items at African Land. The owner was kind, thoughtful and considerate. He always has wise and encouraging words and phrases. I love how he talks highly of his family and encourages my daughter to stay active in the community. He is really big on relationships and reiterates the purpose we have to each other as a people. The materials at the store are wonderful, but the people at the store make it feel like home."
"I was able to find some reasonably priced clothing although there were some things a little overpriced. It was a bit crowded in the store but I was told they will be moving to another location soon. Hopefully it will be a bigger location. There was a good selection of art in the form of African carvings and statues."
