"Overall super cool spot. Lots of good stuff on the menu. I rolled up with a group of 9 and the person working there put 2 tables together for us! The photo is of the meatloaf "funked up". The pie was also delicious."

"This was one of the best and most creative restaurants I have eaten at in Charlotte. The Manager gave great service and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly - it felt like a neighborhood place. I had the Frittata which was an egg custard with greens and goat cheese and beets. Most unusual. I Everything there looked very good and fresh. I will be back!"

"Floored! My first time having chicken and dumplings, it was heavy but so so delicious. My husband got the country fried steak and we both shared a slice of banana cream pie afterwards. Couldn’t recommend this place enough - the servers were so kind and lovely. Also, I loved the deviled egg and biscuit we each got with our dishes."

"After reading a few negative reviews I had to go see for myself. We had an ideal meal at the alway classic Dish! Service is friendly, food is fresh. I had the vegetarian lentil burger and husband had the country fried steak. We ate every bit! My side of collard greens was delicious! I’ll be back for more This cafe has been a staple in Plaza Mid-wood and I’m glad to see it’s still serving up good food in a great atmosphere. Don’t miss out on the chocolate chip pecan pie! We fought over the last bite."
