"When I moved to this area several years ago my husband tried the restaurant. It was pretty good! We tried it a couple years ago & I thought it was still good but my husband said it wasn't the same anymore so he stopped going. About a week ago, since it was just me & I was craving a Philly steak & cheese sandwich (remembering back to the past), I decided to grab dinner. I must say...it wasn't the same! I made my own Philly cheese with provolone, mayo, grilled onions, & lettuce with fries & drink. Flavor was off or needed more seasoning (tasted a little on the bland side). Ingredients fresh & sandwich cooked perfectly. Fries were a little overcooked. You know when you remember how something tasted & you're ready, knowing its going to hit the spot...but then it doesn't. Yeah that kind of disappointment. The the guy who took my order was polite. The pricing, I think is fair. But, I probably won't go back now."

"The sandwich was full of meat, just the way I like it. It was hot, fresh, and very tasty. I'm pretty impress cause I don't like Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. I'm not a fan of cheese, so you know I didn't order cheese with mine. This is not quite my side of town, but if I do come over here, I'll make a pit stop to get me one again."

"I haven’t been to this place in three years. I will say my cheesesteak and fries was amazing per usual. The onion rings were good as well….. buuuut their wings….. the wings are something they should’ve kept off the menu. I’m sure they’re frying them in different grease than the fries and onion rings. The wings were horrible and overly salty with the lemon pepper seasoning"

"A1 customer service! A1 subs that taste just like up north! It’s amazing to have a place that tastes like home. It’s hard to find good food places in Charlotte let alone experience good service. I will definitely be back & also spread the love to others! I ordered the works ❤️ the fries were dry & poorly seasoned though. I think they gave us different ones than other reviews I see."
