"Food vs price was actually a good deal for lunch. Decently priced for good food in the South Park area. If you are considering dining for lunch here, then save yourself the heartache and don't unless you have 2 or more hours available for lunch. Service was just ok. I ended up with a snarky waiter which left a bad overall experience especially when it took more than 15 min to flag said person down just to pay the check. I'd recommend just ordering take out from this place."

"Food is generally pretty decent but they just don't cook burgers less than well. I have ordered about 6 burgers at different times and locations, they are always overcooked. Today I asked specifically for medium rare and once again it was well done. Sweet potatoe fries are great, when hot... too many times they arrive barely warm. Today, unfortunately, the service was not good, probably because of an inexperienced waiter. Dinner came before the appetizer, we had to cancel it."

"I want to preface this review by saying that I was skeptical after reading the reviews for this location. The awesome thing I can say that I took away from reading those reviews and what I experienced is that they are listening and are working to make changes. This is from my observation from a customer service consulting standpoint in which I have years of experience. My daughter had a meeting next door at Summit Coffee and I was hungry and wanted to also not interfere with her meeting. After searching the area for somewhere else I didn't have to leave my parking spot for and realizing Mal Pan wasn't open on Monday, I decided to still give Duckworth's a try. I hoped for the best for lunch even after reading the reviews. Entering in the host was amazing and seated me right away. My server Emily was at my table within a few minutes even though they were a little busy for lunch. Emily's service was amazing and she was super kind, as well as attentive making sure I had everything I needed. Sometime during my eating a man who I believe was the manger came and asked me how everything was. I say I believe because he never actually introduced himself as the manger but he seemed as if he was. Food was quick but not too quick and hot. I had the chicken Philly with sweet potato fries which were absolutely wonderful along with the house chips for an appetizer. Everything was awesome and based on the experience I would go back again. After having experienced other locations and being worried about this one, I can say that at least for the lunch I experienced, they are taking the opportunity to rectify some of the issues that I saw complaints about in the reviews."

"Duckworth's in South Park is a great place to meet up with friends or have a quick bite at the bar. They have an extensive menu with wings, salads and sandwiches. My favorite are the Sweet N' Bold Gold wings. They have pizza, tater tots and fried pickles. Grab a table on their patio and order one of everything."

"This was the first restaurant that we visited when moving out to Charlotte back in May 2023 and all three times we’ve visited to eat everything was always was on point. The food is always fresh and hot, staff always extremely friendly and knowledgeable of all menu items, atmosphere is amazing, and just a must visit when in Charlotte. Either Ashley and Michael has been our servers each time we’ve visited the restaurant and they both are giving exceptional customer service."
