"We arrived for dinner on Sunday without a reservation, they were kind enough to let us in but I recommend making one. As far as the food goes, I really liked the food, fried okra was delicious, fried salmon bites, spinach dip, wings, and other things we tried were excellent! Reasonable prices and drinks. The only thing I didn’t care for is how loud the music is, you definitely can’t have a conversation across the table, I’m not complaining about the choice of music, the DJ was doing an excellent job, it’s just not what I expect when I want a sit down dinner, almost felt club like."

"We visited Charlotte and decided to try Lulabelles. Thankfully we arrived right at their opening time this Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were first in line and were asked if we had reservations because they were booked for brunch. We didn’t have reservations so we were told we could sit at the bar. Arriving early has its benefits, especially in a big city that you’re not familiar with. I liked the vibe and the music and most importantly, the food. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were good and my friend ordered the lamb chops with scrambled eggs, she enjoyed her meal as well. The mimosa flights were tasty and you’re allowed to choose different flavors. Our service at the bar was good and the bartender was attentive and we did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. I would say this place is worth a try. I do however recommend making reservations or arriving early to ensure you’ll have a seat."

"Man this place is such a vibe like the food is fye everything was fresh waiter was great please make reservations this place is good atmosphere. They have a waiter light that you tap when you need help. Not sure when they opened but the lamp chops and crab stuff salmon and that sauce amazing"

"This was my third time at Lulabelles and every time has been a great experience. My most recent visit was for a friend’s birthday dinner. I ordered a Queen’s Sunset which was really pretty presented on a tiered crown glass, my appetizer which I forgot to take a picture of was the spinach dip which was really good. Warm spinach with the perfect amount of cheese served with soft pita chips. I definitely recommend. My entree was the shrimp and mac n cheese. The shrimp was good perfectly seasoned and the mac n cheese was good as well, very cheesy though. This was my first time coming at night so it was a bit louder than during the day but the vibe was still cool with a nice ambience. The GM came to our table and introduced herself which was appreciated and we had an amazing server."

"Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Music was really loud, so you will have to scream while having brunch. But that's ok. I may return just to see what other food items are on the lunch/dinner menu if they offer one. The atmosphere/loud music is definitely geared towards the African American crowd only. This is not a diverse place for an older white crowd (if anyone white wanted to check this place out... lol) Hope my review helps."
