Waffle House

"The only reason I stayed after walking into the silent sorry place was because of the friendly staff. Luckily, the food was slightly above decent, but not cold. Seems like portions have been cut back. The place is just run down and filthy from years of neglect. The staff was extremely nice and attentive."

"We went last week and ordered food to go. We were told our meal would take 20 minutes and it took 40. When I got home all three of my syrups had been opened and my eggs, which I paid extra for cheese to be in, was missing cheese. It wasn't worth the drive back so I dealt with it. My daughter also heard some unsavory (racial) conversations, which I know the employees can't really do much about since it was by the patrons, but it definitely took away from the atmosphere."

"I removed my comment about the obnoxious cook. "HE WAS FIRED." And that's fine with me. I WILL NOW EAT THERE AGAIN. Best move Waffle House ever made."

"We went in on Friday night, and sat at the lower bar area. We were there for a good long while. The waiter looked at us and said be with you in just a minute. That was the last time he looked our way until a little while later when I asked if I can order something to drink. He kinda looked annoyed that I asked. My friend said nevermind and she was tired of waiting. We walked out and got in the car. The two people who walked in as we walked out was taken care of immediately. I guess we sat on the wrong side of the restaurant, it appears. I am a patient person. Restaurants get busy and things happen. That's cool, but to be walked by to sing with and yell to the teenagers in the booths who were singing and playing around approximately 6-7 times and ignored after he said he'd be right with us was very infuriating. He even went to the bar took a dude's order for a waffle and poured the waffle while we were sitting there. I love Waffle House. I didn't even care when I had eaten at another Waffle House with the employees fighting and throwing stuff at each other. They found the time to take our orders and bring us drinks. To be blatantly ignored is another thing all together. Do better Waffle House."
