"Never had bad service until tonight. Called in a takeout order, was told it would be ready in 20 mins. Got there 25 mins later and they were busy so I paid and sat to wait. People came in after I sat down and placed order. They ended up getting their food while I was still waiting. When I brought this up to the girls running the counter they thought it was funny and said they couldn't help how the tickets got worked. They were acting like I was being unreasonable. I asked for my money back. I left there 1 hour after placing my order. The young "manager" needs to learn a little bit about customer service."

"I have been a customer since the place opened. I usually place the order online. The past couple of times I've eaten there, the food has tasted kinda weird. Maybe they're not using good oil anymore, or they're digging thrown away vegetables out of the trash for reuse lol. Whatever it is, they need to get back to the way they used to do stuff. I'm going to give them one final try... Update 12/23: I have eaten there a few times since my original post and the food has been fine. I added a star to my review. However, I will only delete this review after 3 years of consistent quality. I know they're capable of it."

"I had placed an order online and they were busy when I walked in, so they asked me to just wait a few minutes. They were supposed to be sorting the orders and calling people when the orders were ready and as I sat there for 20 minutes, other people were receiving their orders. I finally went up and asked for mine. It had been sitting there for probably at least 10 minutes and not one of the young ladies working thought to ask me if I was waiting on an order. I understand being busy, but when you have a person sitting there clearly looking unhappy without food, as a business you want to make sure that you are taking care of your customers. Food was subpar because it sat for a while. Very disappointing and it will be a while before I go back."

"Order from this business a lot. Came in and ordered my food. Was waiting about fifteen minutes. I paid didn’t get handed a cup, just waited on my food. Two deputy sheriffs came in, they gave them their cups, and had their food out in five mins. They asked for extra sauces, didn’t have to pay for them, I did pay for mine. Waited ten more mins till receiving my order. Food is great, but after that I promise I won’t be returning, lost a customer. Not how I do business."

"Is it the best Japanese food I've ever had? No...is it the best Japanese food in Clover.... I'm pretty sure it's the only one, so yes, lol. Honestly, it lacks a lot of flavor. I've seen a bunch of good reviews for this spot, so I decided to try it since I was in the area. I really wish Japanese restaurants would stop calling it 'fried rice' when they really just pour some soy sauce on top of white rice. I was hungry so I ate it but I won't be back."
