Margaux's Wine, Pizza & Market

"I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Margaux's restaurant. I made a reservation online for 5 PM and my reservation was honored with no issues. They even had my name on the table. So cute! My two friends and I went to dinner on a Saturday and the restaurant was definitely busy. Our server was the BEST. I wish I could remember her name. I haven't had service like that in awhile. I ordered a wine flight (so worth it), a charcuterie board, pepperoni pizza, their house salad, and tiramisu. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the food. The charcuterie board was a little skimpy as far as the meat goes, and the pizza had a creamy taste to it as far as the sauce that I am not accustomed to. Also, toward the end of our time at the restaurant, the server did mention (in a nice way) that they had another reservation, so I did feel a tad rushed. Other than those small items, our time at this establishment was very close to perfect. I love how pretty the restaurant is and love the atmosphere. Also, I believe we met the owner who is not only friendly but he gets in there and helps too. Noticed him chatting with guests and clearing plates off the table. I loved that. I will definitely visit again."

"This was such a delightful evening at Margaux's. First time visit and I made reservations with Google automation reservations which worked perfectly. We easily got a 6pm table same day, with a marker showing my name for 2 on the table when we arrived. 5/5 Food and drinks. We got the charcuterie board with the fig honey goat cheese, Gouda, Jamon Serrano and Lemongrass salami. I highly recommend the goat cheese and salami. This was one of the best boards from taste, presentation and value. We also got the prosciutto and pineapple pizza which was very nice and refreshing. The lemon blueberry cake was for dessert and just the perfect way to end the night. The wine was great and they offer amazing flights of white/red wine. 5/5 Service. We had excellent service. And the manager also stopped by to ask how we were doing. Also gave great recommendations on food and drinks. 5/5 Atmosphere. The feel and vibe was amazing. Had clean restrooms and open kitchen design. I recommend a window seat with just 2 people."

"The restaurant had a nice feel to it, nicely decorated. Our server was very friendly and timely. The Super Tuscan was tasty. I liked the sauce style that it had... creamy cheesy. We had a soft pretzel as well, but it was meh. Kind of dry and reminded me of the microwaved ones from concession stands. The dessert - lemon blueberry mascarpone cake - was fantastic. Light and tart and sweet. Yum! The downside was that when we arrived there was no one else there and they sat the next two groups right next to us. Felt crowded and loud really quick. There might be some tweaks they could do to the acoustics to offer a more pleasant experience, but overall still enjoyed the meal."

"A pure gem! Margaux's food, service, and wine selection are top notch. The quality of everything is excellent, and everyone there is happy to help and obviously well trained. The servers know the food and wine menus inside and out and make every visit a great experience!"

"Stopped in for lunch on my way back up North from GA. On recommendation to visit Margaux’s. I was not disappointed in atmosphere, food, or Service. One large and airy dining area with high ceiling. Alexa was our server. She was top notch. She listened and made recommendations for a party of seven. She didn’t even flinch when we told her separate checks. Many of us ordered pizza with multiple different toppings. The food came exactly how we ordered them. I had The Super Tuscan - prosciutto, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. The 12” St. Louis style pizza had generous toppings. Highly recommend Margaux’s when in Pineville, NC."
