Bruegger's Bagels

"I left empty handed after waiting in store for over 30 min for a mobile order that I placed over an hour prior. Every time I asked about my order I was told they were working on it, while an entire line of in store orders were placed and fulfilled. A waste of time and money. Every time I checked in with an employee I was just told “we have a lot of mobile orders… so…” Updated to add a photo of the mobile order receipts"

"Long story short - service here was AWFUL. We waited almost a full hour to get our food and were brushed off or ignored when we asked about it. Amelie’s is right around the corner - just go straight there until management takes these complaints seriously. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve had with a food-serving establishment EVER. Not an overstatement. We placed our order through DoorDash at 11:01 (and have the confirmation email). We waited patiently for TWENTY minutes at a FAST FOOD joint. Every single person who was in line after I placed my order had already gotten their food and left, so I politely went up to the cashier to check on the status of our order. The employee seemed frustrated with the question, shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know,” walked away, and never came back or addressed my question further. I thought they may not have seen the order (things happen!) so waited another 15-20 minutes in case they missed the order and were now starting to work on it. Nope. We went back up (now 40 minutes after we initially ordered), and a different employee just said “everyone else ordered at the exact same time.” Okay…but I watched 30 different people work through the line, get their food and leave. She checked on the order and then said they received the order at 11:20 (I’m assuming when we asked the first employee, he finally checked the online orders and “accepted” it, because again, we had confirmation of our order at 11:01). No update on how long it would be until we received our order, no check ins as we continued to wait for our food, not knowing when it would be out or if we’d need to wait another 20 or more minutes. I understand that it gets busy on the weekends, but I’ve been to many other Brueggers and similar restaurants, and they somehow manage the rush of customers. Especially given the number of employees they had staffed, it should not take that long to manage the number of customers that were coming through. It seems there is an issue fielding online orders while taking care of the customers in line - we were next to another customer who had ordered online and who had also been waiting for 45 minutes. Even accounting for that fact, orders were not being handled efficiently. I could get past that if the service was better and we were actually getting updates on our order or at a minimum not treated like we were bothering the staff. I am shocked it is still so busy in there and would not recommend this location to ANYONE until these issues are fixed. Not the way I or anyone would want to spend their Sunday… I’m also not one to raise an issue about really anything, but this experience was ridiculous. I like the food and live very close so would love for the service to improve. Until then though, don’t waste your time - go to Amelies around the corner, get better food with faster and friendlier service. Really no reason to stop by here."

"This place had like 40 people in line and maybe 15 DoorDashers... and I thought there's no reason to be that popular. Well, I was wrong. That was probably the best bagel and cream cheese I've ever had. I imagine that the sandwiches are great too, but that will have to wait until next time."

"Tried this place with my boyfriend for the first time today and it was really great. SO MUCH better than a Einstein Bagels. The lady working was very kind and the man who made our food was really fast. I got the Sriracha Honey Sunrise and I’d definitely come back and get it again. My boyfriend got the Avocado,tomato,bacon and he loved his as well. They had fresh orange juice which was really good. The one and only thing I could “complain” about is the location and parking lot- constant beeping horns from people who can’t drive lol. All in all I’d definitely come back again."

"Can’t say enough great things about Bruegger’s Bagels! Located in the Park Road Shopping Center at 4327 Park Rd Building 25, Charlotte, NC 28209, their bagels are the perfect combination of texture and taste. Hard to find great bagels in this part of the Country and Brueggers nails it, he also teacher lot of different flavors of cold press, coffee and espresso, as well as fresh coffee for sale sodas and other drinks. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Staff was quick and friendly."
