"If the late payment policy is that you have 5 days to get a payment in why does the store associate James feel like he should call a day after a payment is due? Can he not count? I've asked the store associates twice to switch my card on file plus link my other items I rent from aarons on the same account but they have failed to do that but when they see the money wasn't drafted from the card they have on file and failed to switch and seen the payment is a day late you want to call and ask where the payment is. This is the third incident I've had with the associates. 1. Delivering furniture and not putting it together 2. Not picking up boxes from the items they did not put together 3. James arrogant attitude like someone can't pay their 97.16 payment. Great quality items just bad customer service."
"Aaron's takes my furniture payment out of my check every two weeks without fail. But on my last paycheck even though I had plenty of money in my account the payment never came out. I was not aware that the payment did not come out until they started calling my contacts I had listed (Because they never updated my phone number for some reason when I was in the store filling out paperwork less than a month ago). So i found out the payment did not go through and sent my Fiance to pay the bill since I was at work but they turned her away and said I would need to pay it myself since it was late. So I called the following day to pay the bill over the phone to which the price had gone up from $100 to $196 in the span of one day, so I spoke to the manager and explained what happened with the payment not being take out and that i would be unable to pay $200 but that I could pay $100 and pay the rest with my next bill that would be due in two weeks. But they said they couldn't take less than $196 because it was late, I in turn told them that I had proof from my bank that I had the money in my account and that no one had tried to take anything out, but I might as well have been talking to a wall. They had no understanding and did not even try to compromise or explain to me why the payment was never taken out. Ben who is one of the mangers was honestly a dick and I can't say that Chris the other manager was any better. So as soon as I have my furniture paid off I'm done with Aarons."
