"Where to start?! If you're in Wilmington, you HAVE to go to Beautiful Brides!! I don't know if I should mention their selection, pricing, or service first, because they are all out of this world! Wedding dress shopping is such an exciting moment, and both Sandra and Shannon made it the best experience possible. They helped me find the PERFECT gown, and they were just so kind and thoughtful during the entire experience. Every time I came out of the dressing room, I felt like I had a cheerleader! Beautiful Brides goes above and beyond to make sure that you find the dress that is perfect for you. I definitely don't know all of the terms related to dresses, but it was so easy to try on a gown, explain what I loved and what I didn't like about it, and Sandra would come back with some truly amazing options that matched my vision perfectly. When I found the dress I fell in love with, the sample dress that I tried on was blush, but I knew I wanted to order it in ivory. Unprompted, Sandra pulled fabric samples out to help me imagine what the gown would look like in ivory, placing them under the tulle of the blush dress, and Shannon then found a picture of the same dress in ivory and sent it to me on Instagram. And I still can't get over the price of the dress. I know other stores stock similar dresses for double and triple the price--one of the things I love about their inventory is that everything is under $2300. Every gown I tried on was super high quality, including the gown I eventually chose. But perhaps the best part of the entire experience was the drop-dead gorgeous veil that Sandra made for me by hand. When I was shopping for my dress, I really wanted it to have a dramatic train. Since the dress I chose had a simpler train, Sandra created the train effect with a beatiful cathedral-length veil. Sandra and I met to discuss my vision and what the veil would look like, and the final version of the veil matched the dress perfectly. It was PERFECT, and I know that the veil is going to become an heirloom piece in my family. I genuinely can't get over how wonderful the entire experience was. PLEASE go visit them!
