"This was my first time going into this Dollar General. And let me tell you.!! The lady at the front desk was wonderful. In a place of business I expect to to speak to someone that understands the customer and will help in advice. Mullins Dollar general is a great place shop there."
"I really like shopping at the dollar general store in Mullins sc 29574 it is a neatly nearly well stocked store clean but I noticed that the walk way was cluttered with boxes and some products was out on the shelves . But again I would recommend my family and friends to shop there because of the really good prices and friendly staff. Besides every visit is not the same."
"The clerks and managers are friendly and helpful. They know their community amd remember customers. Its like a family. WHY I think the owners need to have a security guard around BC they've bern robbed a few times...."
"Prices good staff nice but every dollar general I go into has inventory stacked all over I mean maybe they should hire some stockers"
"Would have given this store 5 stars if not for a terrible shopping experience. Most everyone I have ever dealt with at this store has been polite and helpful with the exception of one person. Last week I came to the store looking for toys that were on sale. Unfortunately, the majority of them were on the top shelf. I didn't want to bother anyone, so I took it upon myself to use a stool to reach the items. I was told by a member of management that customers are not allowed to use the stools because of liability issues, which I completely understood. She told me she could get an associate to help me get the items down, but never did. I decided to use a broom handle to pull the items down that I wanted. My intention was to pull some and put them back after I got what I wanted. After a few minutes, the manager on duty came up to me yelling and telling me that I was making a mess of her store by pulling the items down. She said it wasn't her job to help me find what I was looking for and that I had no intention of putting anything back. She then proceeded to throw the items on the top shelf instead of putting them back neatly like she wanted me to. I didn't understand the reason for such an outburst on her part. After this happened, my friend felt uncomfortable and decided to leave the store and wait in the car. I finished my shopping and checked out. The gentleman at the register was extremely polite. When I left the store I debated whether or not to call corporate and report the incident. I just assumed maybe she was having a bad day as we all do. I decided against it but may reconsider now. I spoke to and associate at another store in the area and apparently she has had this issue before. I wasn't there to cause trouble, just shop in peace. Hopefully next time will be a better, less hostile experience. As someone who worked in retail for over 20 years it would seem some customer service retraining may be necessary."
