"Buyers beware. Purchased an ECU over the phone was told it came out of a running car. ECU arrived and does not work, have factory scan tool and does not connect. Connected Chelsey and she said that the car was running 3 years ago and the ECU was removed then. I explained that there is dirt/debris in the ECU connectors so the ECU was stored improperly. I was told that its 'too bad' and they won't do anything to make it right. Should have done review of their business before doing business with them."
"I looked around forever for an engine and transmission for my truck. East Coast Used Parts had these at a great price. They even installed them for me. Also found a truck bed while I was there! Fantastic prices and service was beyond what was suspected. Will be going back here in the future!"
"Be careful when dealing with this company they will lie to you and rip you off!!!! On 5/18/2023 I purchase a 2008 corvette 7.0 motor with 50k miles on it for 9350.00 turns out it's a 2006 motor with 116k miles on it and when I called them the lady and her husband said there is nothing they could do when I ask to speak to the owner they said no and I could pound sand. Be careful!!!!"
"Was sold an engine and told it was an 2008 LS7 with 5x,xxx miles. However after buying and shipping the engine to me upon further inspection the block stamp tells me the engine is from a 2006 and had 106,000 miles on it when last reported. Was told that “We go by what car it came out of”. And basically told there is nothing they are willing to do to make the situation right. Buyers beware. The do not accurately represent their parts. I got me a 106k mile engine for 50k engine price. We aren’t talking a $2000 engine this is and engine they sold for $9000 engine that in reality is worth more like $6k to $7k when it has TWICE the miles than it was represented to have. Was told the owner would not speak to me or make any attempt to correct this FRAUD."
"Had a relatively stress-free experience with East Coast auto parts. I bought a Toyota sequoia tailgate in good shape at a great price. There was a little miscommunication at one point, but they worked with me. I was first told that I would not be able to go back to the yard for insurance reasons, and had to pay in full first before I could even physically look at or put my hands on the item. The owner, however, did eventually allow me to be escorted to the yard to look it all over before I purchased it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. They were very responsive over text as we negotiated prior to my arrival."
