"Service was fast with only one server and the food tasted great and was hot!! We had fried country steak with potatoes and white gravy and green beans. Hubby had 3 fried pork chops with fried okra and mash potatoes with brown gravy."
"21 bux for breakfast seemed a Lil steep but I did get extra bacon and extra strong coffee..smh* Service was good and friendly..atmosphere needs a little TLC but nothing that couldn't be fixed..overall good experience..convenient for the trip home from Dallas to the beach..I would stop again!"
"Ordered 3 Sausage biscuits. Got home and had 3 sausage and egg biscuits. Called to complain. They were gracious enough to exchange them for what I ordered. However they didn't refund my money and adjust the bill. 3 sausage biscuits $19.18. Everyone can make a mistake and everyone that could did. Either the order taker took it wrong, the cook fixed it wrong, the counter person didn't check the order. I drove 20 round trip twice that's about $12 in gas and $19.18 for the purchase. Crossroads check yourself and staff. If you place a Togo order here check your own order."
"Sorry but not, to say we were so disappointed, it was out first date night out in months. We went to Crossroads Diner. There's no sign saying to seat yourself so we stood there finally a waitress told us to be seated.. She came over asked what we wanted to drink then left.. Brought out 3 ppls order then our drinks she came back 10 min later to get our order. First I ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. Then I ordered a tea with grilled chops w/ Mac& cheese corn bites and a roll. Mark is a diabetic and they had NO diet drinks only unsweetened tea, he ordered Country fried steak with gravy& pot. and a roll We waited about 20 min. Before the pickles come out, then about 5 min. Later the meal came. The pickeld tasted like they were deep fried in OLD OIL. My chops were so thin I couldn't cut them, they gave me a butter knife and fork to eat with but I couldn't cut them. The only thing really worth what we paid was my Mac/cheese oh and my tea. But he said his steak and gravy was like a tv dinner and said his ff tasted like old oil too. We had to ask where the restroom was bc there's no sign. All together it was $47. Oh I got a quesadilla to go, it was $9.99 plus tax it was 4 small pieces. The ppl weren't so friendly either except we noticed to ppl they knew. Oh BTW be prepared to wear a coat bc they didn't even have no heat on guess ppl that came there before knew to bc everyone had theirs on and kept their coats on.. regrettably we will not go back!!!"
"Fantastic local dining experience. Wonderful service, clean dining room, delicious food! I have been looking at this place for a couple years now wondering if it's good. I happen to have a moment to stop and saw the parking lot was full today so I pulled right in. I ordered the chicken ciabatta sandwich along with some green beans and some corn nuggets. I could have eaten six bowls of corn nuggets they were so delicious. I really wasn't expecting too much from the chicken ciabatta sandwich considering it's a diner type place, but it was so fantastically delicious I couldn't stop eating it. The bread was pretty good, the bacon had a great taste, and even when I tasted the chicken alone without all the stuff on it, it had a wonderful flavor. This place does have handicap accessible entrance with a large ramp to get in. The parking is limited in the front but it looks to be that there is some parking on the side as well. I would say get here early because it was packed on a Friday at lunch. I can't wait to try breakfast next time!"
