Named in loving memory of Polly Nicholson, who had a passion for people and always had a smile to share, Polly's aims to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests. The shop is managed by Polly's daughter, Megan Nicholson, who is also a talented singer-songwriter and event coordinator for The Purple Clef.
The shop is also managed by Matthew Nicholson, Polly's son, who brings years of managerial experience to the table. Breanna Chavis Nicholson, Matthew's wife, is the expert coffee maker and blender, ensuring that every drink is made to perfection. Melissa Nicholson, Rodney Nicholson's wife, is also a Co-Manager and Campus Coordinator at Northeastern Technical College.

"This place was listed on one of the “places to go” from our AirBNB, and it did not disappoint. It was me and my 3 kids and my niece. I got a double dip with a cone stuck on top, my son got a triple dip, my niece got a double dip, my daughter got a double cone, and my son got a shake. This place is does their ordering very different from most ice cream shops. You go in look at the selections and THEN go to the cash register to order and pay. They then bring out your ice cream to your table. The place and atmosphere is freakin adorable! Purple and turquoise and very welcoming! The cashier lady (I’m guessing owner) had the best customer service and made us feel like we were regulars. We will definitely be back when we visit again. Oh and the Ice Cream was delicious!!!!"
"As soon as I walked in the colors of the store and decor was beautiful. There were so many different flavors to choose from, staff was friendly. The only thing I could complain about would be how hot the inside was with what seemed to be no air conditioning and the height of chairs for younger children. Overall, it was a great experience."
