"I went into Sun dragon art and fiber on March 30. They have Shawls that they have already premade and there was a certain color that I really liked. I asked the ladies in the store if they had that color of yarn in stock and they told me yes. My husband was with me and I remember saying I don’t see how this color will make the color that I was interested in and they told me, yes, it is the right color. Today is April 18th and luckily, I am still in town. Because, as I’ve worked one whole skein into a shawl, it resembled nothing like the colors that I wanted. So, my husband and I drive there today and I take my Shawl to show it to the ladies and said, this does not match the shawl colors that I asked you for. I was told they would refund my money on the two skeins that I had left. I told them OK, I will take a refund, because I really do not care for this color. My husband and I went to have lunch and I said to him how did they refund me without asking for my credit card. So, I look at the receipt and it reads only store credit!!!!!! They knew that I was from out of town because I told them when I originally went in. They would’ve made $70 off of me if I did not go back and just get my yarn. Rebecca is not an honest person. How she “mistakenly” told me BOTH times that I was in there the wrong information, is beyond me. Buyer beware!!!"

"The world needs more love and kindness like this shop showed me. Highly recommend!! When I arrived in NC on vacation I searched for “the best yarn shops near me” and was led to Sun Dragon Art & Fiber. Due to covid and the need to follow safety guidelines I was required to make an appointment, which was no problem and I actually really appreciated. I waited patiently for two days for my appointment which gave me time to search for new a new knitting pattern and yarn the store carried. I emailed them with questions and they responded with helpful suggestions. As I drove into town with my family in tow I was excited to shop and had the thrill of a new project in sight. As we pulled into town and I was 15 minutes from my scheduled appointment time I rechecked the map and realized I was lost. I called the shop in complete embarrassment to ask for directions only to realize I had driven almost an hour in the wrong direction. While I was upset that I wasn’t going to make it to my appointment and even more upset that I had wasted their time, they were patient, understanding and kind. They even helped me find a yarn store near where I was. The next time I am in town I will definitely stop here. The world needs more love, kindness and understanding like they showed me.
