"Great bbq! Pork was a little dry but the brisket was incredible. Service was really great. Love that they give you hush puppies with every meal, and they are really good too! Easy parking in a free deck just behind the restaurant. Will be back next time we are in Ashville."
"Worst barbecue Ive ever had. The fries were the best thing on the plate. Dry brisket that tasted like beef jerky, couldn’t even finish 2/3 slices. Ribs tasted like they were warmed up. Even the hush puppies were cold. The location should of gave it away on the quality of BBQ. Waste of time and $20."
"Cliff was amazing. Knowledgeable and friendly. I had the Mac and cheese with burnt ends and deviled eggs. Both were really good and the portion was big. I was surprised that didn't have more bbq options as most that smoke a whole pig do."
"First time here and the whiskey sour was awesome. The brisket, pulled chicken and Mac n cheese are a must. Good okra and good green beans. Decent burnswick stew as well. Decent deviled eggs. A good spot to go if in town."
"We were in Biltmore Park and could smell the BBQ wafting from outside, and were drawn to it. We went inside and ordered, and were prompted to tip during ordering before sitting down. While sitting, a couple of other people brought us our food and refilled our drinks. I asked them if the tip we left at the ordering went to them, and they said no. So when we were about to leave, I gave them some cash and told them it was for them. I was disappointed to watch them walk to the front and put my cash in the tip jar… so the tipping culture at this place was confusing. On to the food- it was delicious. It took about 15 minutes for it to come out. I ordered the chopped pork BBQ sandwich meal, which comes with one side and some hushpuppies. I chose the mac n’ hoop cheese for my side, and I also got an extra side of french fries because I was feeling hungry. The food was really good, and the sauce I got was good too. My boyfriend got fried okra, and I had some pieces. It was great, and not slimy at all, which some can be. Overall, we had a really nice experience."
