Pan had not been removed from trans which is necessary to get to the filter. Also checked fluid in trans. Still had dirty fluid in it. Called owner and he denied it and rudely refused to refund .my 280 dollars claiming he had proof it has been done. Now I have to take it else where to get it done BEWARE. BEWARE. "Had our transmission rebuilt on our Envoy XL a few years ago here at Black Bear. The first day after I picked it up I had to have it towed back to them because it messed up AGAIN after they "rebuilt" the transmission. They paid the tow fee and said that some hose disconnected and said they fixed it. All seemed well with it for a while but here we are right after the warranty expired with less than 20k on the rebuilt transmission and the transmission is going yet again. They also replaced a battery and charged us for it without even saying anything which was trivial at the time but now om seeing they have made a habit out of this. Take your money elsewhere for transmission service. It's not worth saving a few hundred initially only to have to have your transmission rebuilt yet again a few years later."
